When I saw this comment in the mornings New York Times I almost puked. I hate this comment and all of the ideas that form it. Marissa, just remember how many “good students” ran the investment banks…

I couldn’t agree more. There was a great phrase I learned at business school regarding this very subject.
“The top third of the class is hired by managers from the middle third of the class at companies started by the bottom third of the class.”
I have found this statement to hold fairly true, even outside of b-school. In a world of ubiquitous information and externalized intelligence, the curious, creative and driven don’t need a formal education.
