Google is finally getting hip to the power of “real time” conversations as a source of relevance.
I did a little bit of auto-Googling on “gbattle” earlier (don’t ask) and found something amazing. I had just traded a few tweets with Guy Kawasaki and lo-and-behold, the live conversation comes up in the result set indented under my Twitter id, beating out a ton of other SEO heavy linkages. I love seeing how Twitter’s innovation stack lets freshness comingle with popularity and context in the PageRank voodoo.
