Nicholas Payton - “Body and Soul” - Live Jazz Festival. A good modern comparison against the Lester Young classic I posted earlier.  Payton may not be The Prez, but the cherubic brother from N’awlins can certainly get a cabinet position for performances like this. The cadenza is magnificent.
