Van Halen’s “Little Guitars”.  The odd-metered “catch-as-catch-can” section grooves hard and musical without sounding like a math equation (talking about you prog-rock bands).  Everyone talks about Eddie’s solo skills, but his rhythm playing is what always caught my ear.  This is a great example since there isn’t a guitar solo.
