Shalamar - “A Night To Remember” - Friends.  What began as a manufactured group from dancers on Soul Train become a disco then R&B supergroup.  And yes, Michael Jackson stole many of his moves, including the moonwalk from Shalamar dancer, Jeffrey Daniel, who originally called it “The Backslide” and went on to choreograph MJ’s “Bad” and “Smooth Criminal.”
