Yesterday’s New Quintet - “Marcus, Martin & Malcolm” - Yesterday’s Universe. YNQ features one man, Madlib, on all instruments and samples.  This composition shows not only the depth of his vinyl crate knowledge, but a real jazz voice that’s not an affectation.  I’d love to see his music performed live under his direction.
