“The beat for “Little Brother” was created by legendary hip hop producer J Dilla. While it was only released on the movie soundtrack for The Hurricane**, it’s Questlove’s favorite Black Star song and he was there when J Dilla made the beat for it.”

** my crew submitted a track for that soundtrack (Curtis Mayfield remake), but we got dinged for a wack track (not the Dilla cut). Politics man. :-(
