John Legend & The Roots - “Hard Times” - Live. They totally cop the funky Baby Huey version, but you can compare it to my version with Delouie Avant which echoes the Curtis Mayfield version. One thing is certain, neither recording sounds like the Run-DMC classic or the 29th Street Saxophone Quartet approach.
